Keith Pomeroy

Keith J. Pomeroy

Chairman, Pomeroy Living and Pomeroy Family Holdings

Keith J. Pomeroy founded and currently serves as Chairman for the Pomeroy family of companies including Pomeroy Health, Inc., Pomeroy Management, Inc., and Pomeroy Investment Corporation. Mr. Pomeroy has over 40 years experience as a highly successful developer, operator, investor and financier. Under his direction the Pomeroy family of companies have developed, acquired and sold in excess of $2 billion worth of businesses and real estate. Today, the Pomeroy family of companies controls a diverse portfolio valued over $500 million. Mr. Pomeroy is most passionate about his charitable work, including the creation of the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) and Child Safe Michigan, a foster care, adoption and mentoring agency that works with neglected, abused and at-risk children. The agency’s focuses are advocacy, prevention, treatment, reunification, permanency and community outreach. Through its foster care, mentoring and adoption programs, Child Safe Michigan assists over 250 youths and children each year.

Alan Funk

Alan S. Funk re-joined Pomeroy Health, Inc. in February 2006.  His relationship and involvement with Pomeroy dates back to 1992 as a health care operations consultant and acquisition specialist, where he played a key role in acquiring several health care properties. Mr. Funk has a diverse and extensive (30 years) background in the health care industry, where he developed an impressive track record of stabilizing operations, reducing costs, and enhancing revenues.  Prior to re-joining Pomeroy Health, he held senior management positions with local and national non-profit and for-profit providers of long-term care services, with fiscal and administrative responsibility for budgets in excess of $80 million.  Mr. Funk has consulted with and advised diverse corporations and organizations, on strategic, product, and service issues related to the mature adult market. Mr. Funk’s current responsibilities include management/operations and strategic business oversight for the current portfolio.  Mr. Funk holds a B.A. degree from Boston University, and a M.A. degree in Health Care Administration from George Washington University.

Manda Ayoub Beacon Square LeadershipManda M. Ayoub

Vice President of Operations, Pomeroy Living Management

Ms. Ayoub brings with her a wealth of experience in the operational and clinical aspects of the industry. She began working in the long term care industry since 1991 and joined Pomeroy Living in 2011 as an Administrator of Boulevard Health Center and the Bradford Medical Resort. In February 2014 she was promoted to Vice President of Operations.

Ms. Ayoub has worked in various capacities in the long term care industry. She began her career as a Nursing Assistant and found she had a love for caring for those in need. She decided to attend nursing school. Once she completed her education she continued her career through nursing working in the following positions, Infection Control Coordinator, In-Service Director, and became an expert in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance. In 2002 Ms. Ayoub became a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and found that this was her calling as being an advocate for seniors is her passion. In the facilities Ms. Ayoub has managed, she was able to reduce the incidence of regulatory issues by 70%, improve cost effectiveness and helped to create a safer environment for seniors. As an Administrator she learned about Risk Management and continued to work as an Administrator, and Risk Manager for a Michigan based Insurance provider. Her goals each day is to make a difference in the lives of those she comes into contact with.

Ms. Ayoub resides with her husband in Troy.
